Pictures from a recent walk, all were taken within walking distance of my home on a cold and foggy spring day.

The Robin was watching me trying to get a picture of a flower then he flew down and landed on the path right in front of me as if to demand I take pictures of him too. He must have sensed I had some sunflower seeds for him to eat.

The Blackbirds were busy finding food to feed their starving chicks. I think their chicks came early because the nest is situated in one of the warm greenhouses at the Botanical gardens.

I love the way all those fish seem to want their picture taken. They are in the Botanical gardens, Edinburgh. The Heron was patiently hunting in the 'water of Leith' Edinburgh. I got cold waiting to see if he could catch anything but I was happy with the pics I got anyway.
